South Gippsland council considers closing pools as repair costs hit $78 million over 15 years

South Gippsland Council has announced the six pools it operates are getting too expensive to maintain.

To cope with the growing repair bill, the council is “considering options that may include reducing the number of aquatic facilities, including the closure of one or more pools”.
