Watch: The history of the Kilcunda Trestle Bridge

Built in 1911, the span is a stunning example of early 20th century timber engineering.

The Kilcunda trestle bridge - with a height of 12 metres and a span of about 91 metres - crosses over the mouth of Bourne Creek, with the Bass Highway running on one side and a spectacular coastal view on the other.
