Darcie Humphreys

Darcie Humpherys is a Ballarat local, with four generations of her family spread across Torquay, Daylesford, Port Fairy and the ‘Rat. After graduating from Curtin University, she worked in communications, business and as a freelance writer. Growing up in Western Australia, Darcie drove across the Nullarbor to settle in Victoria in 2024, igniting a taste for adventure that has had her chasing stories ever since. Darcie has organised festivals celebrating regional growers and producers, and travelled to rural spots to spotlight their farms and businesses. In her off time, she enjoys reading, scuba diving (when it’s not the depths of the West Vic winter) and road tripping.
