Delicious coffee and fancy cakes: Seven of the best cafes in the Latrobe Valley

When it comes to coffee, we’re spoiled for choice in the Latrobe Valley. Here are some of our top picks for your next caffeine fix

Everyday Drive Thru – Moe

For quick and easy service without a compromise on quality, the Everyday Drive Thru is a no-brainer. Grab a hot coffee or cool off with an iced strawberry matcha. If you’re peckish, they’ve got everything from breakie burgers to cinnamon scrolls to satisfy your cravings.

Store Sixty One – Traralgon

This cafe has food, drinks and decor that will take your breath away. Whether you want cute pictures for your next Instagram post or a place to have a delicious outing with family and friends, Store Sixty One has got you covered.

Eat Live Fresh – Trafalgar

This one is technically in West Gippsland, but it’s too good not to share. Eat Live Fresh is straight off the freeway, and it’s a stop you don’t want to skip if you enjoy good food and great coffee. Grab a quick bite during your commute, or have a seat and dine on their fantastic menu. There’s something for everyone here!

Jay Dee’s Cafe – Morwell

Our highlight from Jay Dee’s has got to be the white chocolate mocha, but don’t let our opinion stop you from trying the other items on their menu. With a 5-star rating on Google and more than 30 reviews, it’s clear that the food and drink here is nothing short of fantastic.

The Coffee Pod – Moe and Warragul

The Coffee Pod is one of Moe’s most beloved cafes, and for those of you in West Gippsland, there’s a Warragul location, too! If you haven’t tried these guys yet, you’re missing out on delicious, quick food and very generous portions.

Finally Mine Coffee House – Traralgon

This is definitely the newest entry on our list, but it’s already attracting crowds over on Breed Street. With unique specialties like their “fire + ice” coffee and a wide assortment of savoury delights, these guys are certainly worth a visit.

Danbo’s Coffee – Newborough and Traralgon

It’s impossible to explain the goodness of Danbo’s in just a few sentences, so you might want to read our full review… but, long story short, they’re the real deal when it comes to cafes. Stop by and experience them for yourself!
